Hidden Arsenal 5: Steelswarm Invasion (Page 3)

HA05-EN060
Infestation Wave
Normal Trap
Return 1 face-up Tribute Summoned "Steelswarm" monster you control to the hand to target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Never run away if trying to take over something and don't even bother using a card this bad.
HA05-EN059
Blessings for Gusto
Normal Trap
Target 2 "Gusto" monsters in your Graveyard, plus a third "Gusto" monster in your Graveyard; shuffle both of the first 2 targets into your Deck, then Special Summon the third target.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: For what it's worth, you're better off just bringing back one of your fallen Gusto monsters instead of waiting to have 3 targets in the Grave, bring back one of them and risk getting screwed over in the process.
HA05-EN058
Aquamirror Meditation
Normal Trap
Reveal 1 Ritual Spell Card in your hand to target 2 "Gishki" monsters in your Graveyard; return them to the hand.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It gathers the missing monsters you may need to Ritual Summon but the monsters you retrieve have to be Gishiki monsters.
HA05-EN057
First Step Towards Infestation
Quick-Play Spell
Return 1 face-up Tribute Summoned "Steelswarm" monster you control to the hand; draw 1 card.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: More like a first step towards defeat because you don't run away when trying to take over something and that's what the Steelswarm monster does here.
HA05-EN056
Contact with Gusto
Normal Spell
Target 2 "Gusto" monsters in your Graveyard and 1 card your opponent controls; shuffle both targets in your Graveyard into the Deck, then destroy the opponent's target.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You get 2 of your fallen Gusto monsters back and destroy an opponent's card but that's only partially worth it.
HA05-EN055
Gishki Aquamirror
Ritual Spell
This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Gishki" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Levels equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. You can shuffle this card from the Graveyard into the Deck to target 1 "Gishki" Ritual Monster in your Graveyard; return that target to your hand.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It's got what I call the self-retrieval effect, it can get itself back, and you also get a Gishiki monster back to your hand, which isn't too bad but best with Gishiki decks.
HA05-EN054

Daigusto Eguls
WIND / Psychic-Type Synchro / Level 7 / ATK 2600 / DEF 1800
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters
Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can banish 1 WIND monster from your Graveyard to target 1 face-down card your opponent controls; destroy that target.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Same as HA05-EN053's comments.
HA05-EN053
Daigusto Gulldos
WIND / Psychic-Type Synchro / Level 5 / ATK 2200 / DEF 800
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters
Once per turn: You can shuffle 2 "Gusto" monsters from your Graveyard into the Main Deck to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; destroy that target.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It's non-Tuner specific but the effect is at least not just available when Synchro Summoned.
HA05-EN052

Evigishki Soul Ogre
WATER / Aqua-Type Ritual / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 2800
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Ritual Summoned. You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Gishki" Ritual Spell Card. Once per turn: You can discard 1 "Gishki" monster to target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; shuffle that target into the Deck.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Its effect is once per turn but you can shuffle any face up opponent's monster into the deck by discarding a Gishiki monster, which is sub-par at best.
HA05-EN051

Evigishki Mind Augus
WATER / Aqua-Type Ritual / Level 6 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Ritual Summoned. You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Gishki" Ritual Spell Card. When this card is Ritual Summoned: Target up to 5 cards in any Graveyard(s); shuffle those targets to the Deck.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You could either return 5 cards you lost during the duel or 5 of  your opponent's least playable cards to the deck but you only have one shot at it.
HA05-EN050

Steelswarm Caucastag
DARK / Fiend / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 0
When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing 2 "Steelswarm" monsters: Activate 1 of these effects.
● Destroy all monsters on the field, except this card.
● Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Here you have a poor-man's Judgment Dragon or Heavy Storm and quite frankly the latter is better than this because of how little you need to play both cards.
HA05-EN049

Steelswarm Girastag
DARK / Fiend / Level 7 / ATK 2600 / DEF 0
You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position by Tributing 1 "Steelswarm" monster. When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Steelswarm" monster(s): You can target 1 card your opponent controls; send that target to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: He becomes essentially a Level 5 or 6 monster if you Tribute Summon him with a Steelswarm monster but also only barely getting 2 stars.
HA05-EN048

Steelswarm Moth
DARK / Fiend / Level 6 / ATK 2400 / DEF 0
When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Steelswarm" monster: You can pay 1000 Life Points to target up to 2 cards your opponent controls; return those targets to the hand.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: His ATK is decent for a Level 6 monster but nothing else is so I think I'll stick with Jinzo or Brain Golem instead.
HA05-EN047
Steelswarm Mantis
DARK / Fiend / Level 5 / ATK 2200 / DEF 0
When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Steelswarm" monster: You can pay 1000 Life Points to target 1 "Steelswarm" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: See? Using his effect requires 1000 Life Points and another Steelswarm monster for his Tribute Summon. This mantis doesn't stand a prayer.
HA05-EN046

Steelswarm Caller
DARK / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 0
When a "Steelswarm" monster is Tribute Summoned face-up by Tributing this card: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Steelswarm" monster from your Deck.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: If the high-level Steelswarm monsters were actually good, then I'd certainly at least double this guy's rating but they're not so keep this caller on your ignore list.
HA05-EN045

Steelswarm Gatekeeper
DARK / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1900
If a "Steelswarm" monster is Tribute Summoned face-up while this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon or Set 1 monster in addition to your Normal Summon or Set that turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Getting there but still only marginally at 2/5.
HA05-EN044
Steelswarm Scout
DARK / Fiend / Level 1 / ATK 200 / DEF 0
At the start of your Main Phase 1, if you control no Spell/Trap Cards: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You cannot Special Summon another monster(s) the turn you activate this effect. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be Tributed, except for the Tribute Summon of a "Steelswarm" monster, and cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: If there's a club meeting, they need to discuss why they're bad cards for decks.
HA05-EN043
Steelswarm Cell
DARK / Fiend / Level 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0
If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be Tributed, except for the Tribute Summon of a "Steelswarm" monster, and cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Talk about having nothing good to offer! His stats are bad, his effect is bad and the entire archtype is bad!
HA05-EN042

Windaar, Sage of Gusto
WIND / Psychic / Level 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1000
When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Gusto" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You can bring back the Tuner monster that can come back when used for a Synchro Summon but that's probably the best target and that's sad when you consider this guy's stats for a Level 6 monster.
HA05-EN041

Caam, Serenity of Gusto
WIND / Psychic / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1100
Once per turn: You can shuffle 2 "Gusto" monsters from your Graveyard into the Main Deck; draw 1 card.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: He won't stay long but you do get to replenish your deck with Gusto monsters and draw 1 card for the time he's on the field.
