Dragons of Legend New Card Ratings (Page 3)
Dragons of Legend: Unleashed |
DRL3-EN073 Spell Card Special Schedule Normal Spell Target 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard with 3000 or more ATK; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. You can only activate 1 "Special Schedule" per turn. If this Set card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 10 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 It can't get Ancient Gear Golem for obvious reasons but Night Express Knight is a somewhat worthy target but there still won't be that many good ones to pick from. |
DRL3-EN072 Effect Monster Night Express Knight EARTH / Machine / Level 10 / ATK 3000 / DEF 3000 Cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but its original ATK becomes 0. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 At least this guy can be played any way you want without side-effect aside from being Summoned by its effect but doesn't have any other bonuses. |
DRL3-EN071 Effect Monster Snow Plow Hustle Rustle EARTH / Machine / Level 10 / ATK 2500 / DEF 3000 When your opponent's monster declares a direct attack, while you control a card(s) in your Spell & Trap Zone: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, then destroy as many cards in your Spell & Trap Zone as possible, and if you do, inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each destroyed card. You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except Machine-Type monsters. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 Though released years ago, I never rated these last three cards due to their release not being in the US. That aside, it can help defend your LP and you'll need that when you lose your Spell and Trap Cards in the process but beyond that, it's not much to work with, especially since you can only Special Summon Machine-Type monsters while it's out. |
DRL3-EN040 Spell Card Flower Gathering Normal Spell Special Summon 4 "Flower Cardian" monsters with 100 ATK and different names from your Deck in Attack Position, but they have their effects negated, also they cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon. You can only activate 1 "Flower Gathering" per turn. You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters during the turn you activate this card, except "Flower Cardian" monsters. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 With Flower Cardians only having one Synchro and no Xyz Monsters, you aren't really going to get much out of this since you cannot use the new monsters for a Tribute Summon. |
DRL3-EN039 Synchro Monster Flower Cardian Lightshower DARK / Warrior-Type Synchro / Level 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 3000 1 Tuner + 3 non-Tuner monsters Your opponent cannot target "Flower Cardian" monsters you control with card effects, also those monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects. During your opponent's Draw Phase, if they draw a card(s) for their normal draw: Inflict 1500 damage to your opponent. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: Activate 1 of these effects; ● Skip the Draw Phase of your next turn. ● This card has its other effects negated until your opponent's next Standby Phase. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Since you're forced to pick one of the two bad effects, that brings this card's rating down as does needin 3 non-Tuners but the stats and high damage aren't bad. |
DRL3-EN038 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Paulownia with Phoenix DARK / Warrior / Level 12 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Level 12 "Flower Cardian" monster, except "Flower Cardian Paulownia with Phoenix". If this card is Special Summoned: Draw 1 card, and if you do, show it, then you can Special Summon it if it is a "Flower Cardian" monster. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. Once per turn, when this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can draw 1 card. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 The original Paulownia at least could be Summoned any way possible whereas this guy too has literally a high requirement and an equally risky effect to its friends. |
DRL3-EN037 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Willow with Calligrapher DARK / Warrior-Type Tuner / Level 11 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Level 11 "Flower Cardian" monster, except "Flower Cardian Willow with Calligrapher". If this card is Special Summoned: Draw 1 card, and if you do, show it, then you can Special Summon it if it is a "Flower Cardian" monster. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. When this card is used as Synchro Material, you can treat it and all other Synchro Materials (that have a Level) as Level 2 monsters. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 Even being a Tuner doesn't help this guy's playability because its effects are just as risky as two of the previous cards'. |
DRL3-EN036 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Zebra Grass with Moon DARK / Warrior / Level 8 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Level 8 "Flower Cardian" monster, except "Flower Cardian Zebra Grass with Moon". If this card is Special Summoned: Draw 1 card, and if you do, show it, then you can Special Summon it if it is a "Flower Cardian" monster. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. Once per turn, if this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can draw 1 card. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 Now this guy has a higher Level but still requires Tributing one of its comrades that has the same Level and those stats and effect don't make that worthwhile. |
DRL3-EN035 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Pine with Crane DARK / Warrior / Level 1 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Level 1 "Flower Cardian" monster, except "Flower Cardian Pine with Crane". If this card is Special Summoned: Draw 1 card, and if you do, show it, then you can Special Summon it if it is a "Flower Cardian" monster. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card battled: Draw 1 card. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 So Meklords are now no longer the only monsters with low Levels and high ATK but they're at least playable. This guy pretty much follows Cardian Pine's effect to have the same risk and then let you draw 1 card later on. |
DRL3-EN034 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Paulownia DARK / Warrior / Level 12 / ATK 100 / DEF 100 While you control a Level 11 or lower "Flower Cardian" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Flower Cardian" monsters. When this card is targeted for an attack: You can negate the attack, end the Battle Phase, then draw 1 card. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 You'll need to stop all the attacks you can because that 100 ATK and DEF won't do you much good, though you don't have to bring it out by its effect. |
DRL3-EN033 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Willow DARK / Warrior / Level 11 / ATK 100 / DEF 100 While you control a Level 10 or lower "Flower Cardian" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Flower Cardian" monsters. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Flower Cardian" monster in your Graveyard; shuffle it into your Deck, then draw 1 card. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 One would expect a pretty powerful effect on a Level 11 monster but no such luck here as it's just a medocre 1-for-1 deal. |
DRL3-EN032 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Zebra Grass DARK / Warrior / Level 8 / ATK 100 / DEF 100 While you control a Level 7 or lower "Flower Cardian" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Flower Cardian" monsters. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can reveal any number of "Flower Cardian" monsters in your hand, shuffle them into the Deck, then draw the same number of cards. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 Thus far, these guys all have 100 ATK and DEF and revolve around drawing cards but aside from that, this guy really isn't much of a threat. |
DRL3-EN031 Effect Monster Flower Cardian Pine DARK / Warrior / Level 1 / ATK 100 / DEF 100 If this card is Normal Summoned: Draw 1 card, show it, then send it to the Graveyard unless it is a "Flower Cardian" monster. You can only use this effect of "Flower Cardian Pine" once per turn. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, or if this card in your possession is destroyed by an opponent's card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can draw 1 card. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 At least the 2nd effect pretty well guarantees you keep the card you draw but with only 100 ATK and DEF, this is one delicate flower. |
DRL3-EN030 Xyz Monster Galaxy Stealth Dragon DARK / Dragon-Type Xyz / Rank 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1600 2 Level 4 Dragon-Type monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand. Your opponent cannot target other "Galaxy" cards you control with card effects, also those cards cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 It brings out any Dragon-Type monster from your hand for a little effort, though so does the much stronger Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and that can also bring back Dragons from the Graveyard. |
DRL3-EN029 Xyz Monster Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon LIGHT / Dragon-Type Xyz / Rank 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2500 2 Level 8 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; monsters you control cannot attack your opponent directly for the rest of this turn, except this card, also take control of the targeted monster until the End Phase, but while this effect is applied, it has its effects negated, its ATK becomes 3000, also its name becomes "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon". SECRET RARE Rating: 2 So Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon has another counterpart does he? Well it's not much better given only Cipher Dragon can attack directly if the effect is used, though the new monster will also have 3000 ATK for one turn. |
DRL3-EN028 Effect Monster Cipher Wing LIGHT / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1400 / DEF 1200 If you control a "Cipher" monster or "Kinetic Soldier" in your Monster Zone, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can Tribute this card; increase the Levels of all "Cipher" monsters and "Kinetic Soldier" you currently control by 4 until the end of this turn. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 One of ARC-V Kite Tenjo's cards with benefits to LIGHT and Machine, including Kinetic Soldier. Though, the effect probably won't help you that much unless you have two Cipher or Kinetic Soldiers out. |
DRL3-EN027 Xyz Monster Number 98: Antitopian DARK / Warrior-Type Xyz / Rank 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2500 2 Level 4 monsters When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; change that monster to Defense Position. During either player's turn, while this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Utopia" monster on the field; Special Summon this card in Defense Position, and if you do, attach that monster to this card as an Xyz Material. You can only use this effect of "Number 98: Antitopian" once per turn. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 I'd almost consider this the better version of Utopia but it's actually weaker and won't let you benefit from cards that activate when an attack is negated. The other effect isn't bad though, especially if you snatch your opponent's Utopia. |
DRL3-EN026 Xyz Monster Number 78: Number Archive LIGHT / Spellcaster-Type Xyz / Rank 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0 2 Level 1 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; your opponent randomly chooses 1 card in your Extra Deck, and if it is a "Number" monster that has a number between "1" and "99" in its name, Special Summon it by using this face-up card you control as the Xyz Material, but banish that monster during the End Phase, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to this card also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 Archives can be nice for instant access to seemingly lost information but all this guy archives is bad ideas because while it brings out an Xyz Monster for little effort, you lose it during the End Phase, taking this guy with it. |
DRL3-EN025 Xyz Monster Number 59: Crooked Cook FIRE / Warrior-Type Xyz / Rank 4 / ATK 2300 / DEF 200 2 Level 4 monsters While you control no other cards on the field, this card is unaffected by other cards' effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy as many other cards you control as possible, then this card gains 300 ATK until the end of this turn for each monster destroyed by this effect and sent to the Graveyard. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 It'll benefit from having your field pretty well empty but you probably won't because that means you won't be able to stop its destruction and that ATK boost doesn't last either. |
DRL3-EN024 Xyz Monster Number 51: Finisher the Strong Arm EARTH / Rock-Type Xyz / Rank 3 / ATK 2600 / DEF 0 3 Level 3 monsters Cannot be destroyed by battle. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card battled: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; place 1 Counter on this card (max. 3). At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card battled, and has 3 of these Counters: You can destroy all cards your opponent controls. SECRET RARE Rating: 3 Slow to get counters but since it can't be destroyed in battle and has high enough ATK to take down some threats, it should be around for a little while and clear your opponent's field. |
DRL3-EN023 Xyz Monster Number 45: Crumble Logos the Prophet of Demolition EARTH / Zombie-Type Xyz / Rank 2 / ATK 2200 / DEF 0 2 or more Level 2 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 other face-up card on the field; while this monster is face-up on the field, that target has its effects negated. While that target is on the field, cards with the same name as that target, and their effects, cannot be activated. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Stronger than most Xyz Monsters with its Rank but the effect relies entirely on it being face-up on the field and that 0 DEF will make it quite vulnerable in Defense Mode. |
DRL3-EN022 Xyz Monster Number 24: Dragulas the Vampiric Dragon DARK / Wyrm-Type Xyz / Rank 6 / ATK 2400 / DEF 2800 2 Level 6 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck; change it to face-down Defense Position. If this face-up card in its owner's control is sent to your Graveyard or banished by your opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position. If this card is flipped face-up: Send 1 card on the field to the Graveyard. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Since there aren't any other Wyrm Xyz Monsters, you won't yet be able to Rank-Up to it but once it's out, it's pretty hard to get rid of and has 2800 DEF, though it has to be destroyed while face-up. |
DRL3-EN021 Xyz Monster Number 100: Numeron Dragon LIGHT / Dragon-Type Xyz / Rank 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0 2 "Number" Xyz Monsters with the same name and Rank Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card gains ATK equal to the combined Ranks of all Xyz Monsters currently on the field x 1000, until the end of your opponent's turn. When this card is destroyed by card effect: You can destroy as many monsters on the field as possible (min. 1), then each player Sets 1 Spell/Trap Card from their Graveyard to their field. When an opponent's monster declares an attack while this card is in your Graveyard and you have no cards in your hand or field: You can Special Summon this card. SECRET RARE Rating: 1 It may have taken down Don Thousand in the anime, but our version is so much weaker that it's really not worth the effort. |
DRL3-EN020 Trap Card Scrum Force Continuous Trap While you control 2 or more face-up Defense Position monsters, your opponent cannot target Defense Position monsters you control with card effects, also those monsters cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. If this card would be destroyed by card effect, you can destroy 1 card in your Spell & Trap Zone instead. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 So I gather this would be used with Hand-Holding Genie or perhaps even the Level 1 Normal Monster you're foolishly trying to protect to bring out Zushin but once you get down to one Defense Position monster, this card becomes pretty well useless. |
DRL3-EN019 Effect Monster Hand-Holding Genie DARK / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1600 Monsters your opponent controls cannot target monsters for attacks, except this one. This card gains DEF equal to the combined original DEF of all other face-up Defense Position monsters you control. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 It'll need that extra DEF to survive but even that doesn't protect it from card effects. |
DRL3-EN018 Effect Monster Zushin the Sleeping Giant EARTH / Warrior / Level 10 / ATK 0 / DEF 0 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing a monster you control with 10 Zushin Counters, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can reveal this card in your hand, then target 1 Level 1 Normal Monster you control (keep this card revealed until the end of this turn); place 1 Zushin Counter on it. Unaffected by other cards' effects. If this card battles a monster, during damage calculation: ATK and DEF of this card become equal to the current ATK of the monster it is battling +1000, during that damage calculation only. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 If you never saw the 5Ds Japanese anime, you're probably wondering where this monster came from. Even in the anime, it was a pitiful 10 turns keeping a Level 1 Normal Monster on the field just to bring it out and unfortunately, that's pretty much how you bring it out here. Plus by using its effect to give your Level 1 Normal Monster counters, you're exposing your strategy out of the gates and thus that Level 1 Normal monster is exceptionally vulnerable. Once out, it may be somewhat of a threat but not worth waiting 10 turns for. |
DRL3-EN017 Effect Monster Red Nova FIRE / Fairy-Type Tuner / Level 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0 If a Level 8 or higher Dragon-Type Synchro Monster is on the field, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "Red Nova" once per turn this way. If this card is sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon that uses 2 or more Tuner monsters as Materials: You can Special Summon 1 FIRE Fiend-Type monster from your Deck in Defense Position. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 You don't have to own the Dragon-Type Synchro but unless you can bring one out, this guy won't be much use, especially considering the 2nd effect revolves entirely on using it for a double-Tuner Synchro Summon. |
DRL3-EN016 Spell Card Ritual Sanctuary Field Spell You can discard 1 Spell Card; add 1 LIGHT Ritual Monster or 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. You can shuffle any number of Spell Cards from your Graveyard into the Deck, then target 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster in your Graveyard whose Level equals the number of cards you shuffled into the Deck; Special Summon it. You can only use each effect of "Ritual Sanctuary" once per turn. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 A bit better than the anime from what was revealed, though using the first effect will cost you a Spell Card and the 2nd will probably be more difficult to activate. |
DRL3-EN015 Spell Card Machine Angel Ritual Ritual Spell This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Cyber Angel" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If a LIGHT monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect while this card is in your Graveyard, you can banish this card instead. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 From what we know, this card wasn't able to protect any monster but here it can do that on any LIGHT monster you have and will protect all of them if you have more than one out. |
DRL3-EN014 Ritual Monster Cyber Angel Dakini LIGHT / Fairy-Type Ritual / Level 8 / ATK 2700 / DEF 2400 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Machine Angel Ritual". If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can make your opponent send 1 monster they control to the Graveyard (their choice). If a Ritual Monster you control attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can target 1 Ritual Monster or 1 "Machine Angel Ritual" in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. SECRET RARE Rating: 3 In the anime, she was Alexis' best Ritual Monster until ARC-V and she's still got it here because she allows any of your Ritual Monsters to deal piercing battle damage, including herself. Plus while, a bit slow, you'll be a bit closer to a 2nd Ritual Summon too. |
DRL3-EN013 Ritual Monster Cyber Angel Idaten LIGHT / Fairy-Type Ritual / Level 6 / ATK 1600 / DEF 2000 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Machine Angel Ritual". If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can add 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. If this card is Tributed: You can make all Ritual Monsters you control gain 1000 ATK and DEF. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 She too has gotten a buff and that's good because that extra ATK and DEF may come in handy but only works on Ritual Monsters and like Benten, her stats are little to work with. |
DRL3-EN012 Ritual Monster Cyber Angel Benten LIGHT / Fairy-Type Ritual / Level 6 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1500 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Machine Angel Ritual". If this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's original DEF in the Graveyard. If this card is Tributed: You can add 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Looks like she got a buff from the anime because I don't recall the anime version getting another LIGHT Fairy from your Deck when she's Tributed but her stats aren't much to speak of. At least she's still usable with Ritual Weapon though. |
DRL3-EN011 Effect Monster Cyber Petit Angel LIGHT / Fairy / Level 2 / ATK 300 / DEF 200 If this card is Summoned: You can add 1 "Cyber Angel" monster or "Machine Angel Ritual" from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Cyber Petit Angel" once per turn. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 So here's the first of at least a few cards from Alexis Rhodes' GX Deck and it seems to follow the anime version quite well but unless you're ready to Ritual Summon, it's not going to help you much and Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands can do a bit better and has higher ATK and DEF. |
DRL3-EN010 Effect Monster The Suppression Pluto DARK / Fiend / Level 8 / ATK 2600 / DEF 2000 Once per turn: You can declare 1 card name; look at your opponent's hand, then if they have the declared card in their hand, apply 1 of these effects. ● Take control of 1 monster your opponent controls. ● Destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls, then you can Set the destroyed Spell/Trap Card on your field. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Pretty risky but if you use an effect that allows you to see your opponent's hand first, then this isn't too bad but apart from that, the stats are pretty low for a Level 8 monster and what you get from your opponent won't be a surprise and may not even be useful. |
DRL3-EN009 Effect Monster The Despair Uranus LIGHT / Rock / Level 8 / ATK 2900 / DEF 2300 When this card is Tribute Summoned while you control no Spell/Trap Cards: You can activate this effect; your opponent declares either Continuous Spell or Continuous Trap, then you Set 1 card of that type directly from your Deck. This card gains 300 ATK for each face-up Spell/Trap Card you control. Face-up cards in your Spell & Trap Zone cannot be destroyed by card effects. SECRET RARE Rating: 1 Despair is right but it's for you not your opponent because activating the effect not only requires you to do so with it pretty well unprotected but you'll be setting the type of card your opponent chooses and thus have a pre-revealed surprise for your opponent, making them able to counter it before it can be used. |
DRL3-EN008 Effect Monster The Grand Jupiter DARK / Warrior / Level 8 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000 Once per turn: You can discard 2 cards, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; equip that face-up monster to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the combined original ATK of the monsters equipped to it by this effect. Once per turn, during the End Phase: You can target 1 Monster Card equipped to this card by this card's effect; Special Summon it to your field. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Though not a very strong Level 8 monster, that will quickly change so long as you can equip it with your opponent's monsters and not lose them. Plus while you can also add them to your field, that will also lower this guy's ATK. |
DRL3-EN007 Effect Monster The Blazing Mars FIRE / Pyro / Level 8 / ATK 2600 / DEF 2200 While this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can banish 3 other monsters from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card, also you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of this turn. During your Main Phase 1: You can send all other monsters you control to the Graveyard; inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each monster sent to the Graveyard. You can only use each effect of "The Blazing Mars" once per turn. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 Relatively easy to bring out but its stats and using the other effect aren't all that great. |
DRL3-EN006 Effect Monster The Tripper Mercury WATER / Aqua / Level 8 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can change all monsters on the field to face-up Attack Position. You can Tribute 3 monsters to Tribute Summon (but not Set) this card. If Summoned this way, while this card is on the field, all monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to their original ATK. This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 It'll be able to overpower pretty much any monster your opponent threatens you with but that requires an extra Tribute and unless your two attacks are successful, that 2000 ATK isn't much to worry about. |
DRL3-EN005 Xyz Monster Raidraptor - Blade Burner Falcon DARK / Winged Beast-Type Xyz / Rank 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000 2 Level 4 Winged Beast-Type monsters If this card is Xyz Summoned, and your opponent's LP is at least 3000 higher than yours: You can make this card gain 3000 ATK. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can detach any number of Xyz Materials from this card; destroy exactly that number of monsters your opponent controls. ULTRA RARE Rating: 1 Apart from the ATK boost that only occurs if you're way behind your opponent's LP, its stats are pathetic and have very little chance of taking anything out and thus activating its effect, which is just as poor. |
DRL3-EN004 Effect Monster Raidraptor - Napalm Dragonius DARK / Winged Beast / Level 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000 Once per turn: You can inflict 600 damage to your opponent, also monsters in your possession cannot activate their effects for the rest of this turn, except "Raidraptor" monsters. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Raidraptor" monster from your Deck, but it has its effects negated. ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 If it weren't for the last line of text, I'd have surely given it 1 star and perhaps an insulting nickname. |
DRL3-EN003 Effect Monster Performapal Corn LIGHT / Beast-Warrior / Level 3 / ATK 600 / DEF 1000 Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can target 1 other "Performapal" monster you control with 1000 or less ATK; change both it and this card, that you control, from face-up Attack Position to Defense Position, and if you do, add 1 "Odd-Eyes" monster from your Deck to your hand. During your opponent's turn: You can banish 1 "Performapal" monster, except "Performapal Corn", and this card from your Graveyard; gain 500 LP (this is a Quick Effect). ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 It'd be a good idea to use her effect (if you choose to run her) to change herself to Defense Mode because with only 600 ATK, she's not going to last long, though 1000 DEF doesn't do much either. Gaining the minimal LP though is pretty bad. |
DRL3-EN002 Effect Monster Performapal Uni LIGHT / Beast-Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 800 / DEF 1500 Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Performapal" monster from your hand in Attack Position. During your opponent's turn: You can banish 1 "Performapal" monster, except "Performapal Uni", and this card from your Graveyard; the next time you would take battle damage this turn, you do not (this is a Quick Effect). ULTRA RARE Rating: 2 You'll activate the effect in the two best ways to Summon possible but the new monster will be just as vulnerable as it's in Attack Position but reducing battle damage to 0 by its effect isn't really that practical given better options like Waboku and Threatening Roar. |
DRL3-EN001 Pendulum Monster Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon DARK / Dragon-Type Pendulum / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 600 / Scale 8 Once per turn, if a face-up "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum Monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can destroy 1 card in your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, place 1 face-up "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum Monster in your Extra Deck in your Pendulum Zone, except "Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon". During either player's turn, while an "Odd-Eyes" card is in your Pendulum Zone: You can target 1 "Odd-Eyes" monster you control; the first time it would be destroyed by battle or card effect this turn, it is not destroyed. You can only use this effect of "Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon" once per turn. SECRET RARE Rating: 2 The Scale is perhaps the best thing about this card since both effects rely on Odd-Eyes monsters and the stats are pretty weak. |
